Ab&M Preparatory and Primary school was founded on 1st September 1997. On the first day of resumption, the school had two professional teachers, one class assistant and one cleaner. There were eleven pupils; eight(8) boys and three(3) girls in attendance. By the end of the session (1997/1998), the school closed with a population of thirty-five(35) pupils. The members of staff also increased with two additional teachers.

In May 1998, the school inaugurated the Parents Teachers Association (PTA) and executives were nominated. The school gained approval from The Lagos State Ministry of Education in August 1999. This was after the school had applied for approval after the population had grown to 70 pupils and pre-approval visit was conducted in November 1998.

Afterwards, the first set of graduating pupils emerged and this consisted of Five (5) Pupils; Three(3) Boys and Two(2) girls. They gained admission to the Government school in the Locality

The school went on to also organize trips and outing for the pupils to take their learning out of the classroom. various events such as interhouse sports competitions, Career days, Cultural days and so on have been organized to broaden the scope of knowledge of the pupils.

And for over Two decades, Ab&M has been producing pupils that are well tailored both in Academics and Character
